Invest in the river your community depends on. Partner with the UERA to protect the Upper Etowah River.
Over half a million people who depend on the Upper Etowah watershed, its lakes and tributaries, for both drinking water and everyday needs.
When your business partners with the Upper Etowah River Alliance, you help fund volunteer water monitoring, trash removal, and education programs across Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Lumpkin and Pickens counties. In return, we’ll share your support with thousands of people who care about the river as much as you do.
Every partnership is tailored to your goals. Whether you want to give your team a hands-on volunteer day, sponsor an event, or make a lasting investment in clean water, we’ll work with you to find the right fit.
Clean water is good business. Partner with us to protect the Upper Etowah River. Our various partnership opportunities can help you build brand loyalty, while delivering on your cause-marketing investment.
Pick the option that fits your business. An annual membership covers a full year of river protection in one gift. A monthly gift spreads your support across the year and gives us steady funding we can plan around. Every partnership makes a difference in protecting the Upper Etowah watershed.
Annual partnerships begin at the levels below. We’re happy to build a package around your team’s goals.
Payments are processed securely through Givebutter. You’ll get an email receipt right away, and your membership is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

One of the most popular ways to volunteer is during a company sponsored cleanup! Your staff will spend a day in the great outdoors, participating in either a river-based or land-based cleanup. For more information on how to register your group, please contact us.

Our events educate and entertain. From our annual meetings, to kayak trips, or educational activities at the local library, there’s an ideal happening for your company. For more information, please contact us below.

Not every gift is a check. Donated supplies, food, printing, gear, and professional services help our work go further and free up funds for the programs that matter most.
That can mean field equipment and cleanup supplies for volunteer days, snacks and water for community events, printed flyers and banners, or your business’s skills in areas like design, photography, accounting, or legal support. If you have something to give, contact us about in-kind support and we’ll work out the details together.

Your employees already care about this community, and your company can multiply that generosity. Match your team’s donations to double their impact, or add us to your workplace giving program so employees can give through payroll deduction, a company giving portal, or a volunteer-and-giving campaign.
Every gift, matched or not, supports our work protecting and celebrating the river. If your company already has a giving or matching program, let us know and we’ll help with the paperwork. If you’d like to start one, we’ll walk you through it.
