Join us this Halloween for a haunt on the Etowah River – a 9-mile float through autumn mist, fall foliage, and maybe a river monster or two. Whether you’re paddling in costume or just lurking along for the ride, this frightfully fun float offers a smooth, organized journey from drop-off to push-off.
Bring your own kayak. Watercraft will not be available to rent.

Spooky Schedule
- 8:00 AM — Shuttle Setup & Boat Drop-off: Unload your watercraft at
- Scenic Etowah River Park
- (Hwy 9 in Dawsonville, GA) then drive your getaway vehicle down to the Kelly Bridge Canoe Launch. Our phantom shuttle will conjure you right back to the starting line.
- 9:00 AM — Safety Briefing: A quick, mandatory briefing on river rules and safety—because turning into a river ghost is not on the itinerary!
- 9:30 AM — Launch: All boats launch!
