November Hike at Talking Rock Nature Park

Join us for our November hike at Talking Rock Nature Preserve! This park lets you choose your adventure, with 3 to 6 miles of easy trail and a few inclines.
We’ll hike 3 miles together as a group, then anyone who wants to stay outside and play can add on more miles. The trails are well maintained and take you deep into the woods, but they loop around, so it’s easy to hike as much or as little as you like.

- When: Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
- Where: Talking Rock Nature Preserve, 1846 Carns Mill Rd, Talking Rock, GA 30175. Meet in the parking lot.
- Distance: 3 miles as a group, with the option to extend to 6
- Difficulty: Easy, with a few inclines
- Cost: Free, and there’s no parking fee
What to Bring
- Comfortable shoes and layers for a November morning
- Water and a snack
- A few dollars to donate to trail maintenance, if you’re so inclined
After the Hike
The preserve isn’t far from the town of Talking Rock, which offers food and drinks. Bigun’s BBQ is also just across Hwy 515 for BBQ and burgers.
